Each year, Currypool Mill welcomes a wonderfully varied mix of campers. From families arriving with tents and roof boxes, to guests with trailer tents, and even dedicated cyclists tackling epic journeys like Land’s End to John O’Groats — everyone is welcome here.
Our aim is simple: we want all our guests to enjoy the site, the grounds, and the peaceful atmosphere. To help make that possible, we do have a few extra guidelines around camping, along with some added facilities to make your stay more comfortable.
A few important camping guidelines
- For safety and to protect the grounds, please do not place BBQs directly on the grass.
If needed, we’re often happy to provide blocks so your BBQ can be raised off the ground - just ask.
New for this year
We’re continuing to improve what we offer, especially for guests travelling light:
- Picnic table and chairs available for campers on request, ideal for cyclists, hikers, or anyone limited on space
- Free-use phone charging point (a small deposit may be required for the key)
- Access to a small fridge
- £5.00 per day to cover running costs
- Available on a first come, first served basis
